Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy

Support for adults and teens

About this service

Integrative counselling and psychotherapy offers a supportive, collaborative space for adults and teenagers to explore emotional wellbeing, life challenges, identity, relationships, and personal growth.

People come to therapy for many different reasons. You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or navigating a period of change. You don’t need to have a clear goal or a specific issue to begin. Therapy can be a place to slow down, reflect, and make sense of your experiences in a way that feels steady and contained.

Sessions are paced to your needs, with care taken to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and respected. There is no pressure to move faster than you’re ready to.

Who this service is for

This service may be suitable for:

  • Adults seeking emotional support or personal growth

  • Teenagers navigating adolescence, identity, relationships, or emotional challenges

  • People experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, burnout, or life transitions

  • Individuals wanting a gentle, trauma-informed approach to therapy

If you’re unsure whether counselling or psychotherapy is the right fit for you or your teen, you’re welcome to get in touch to discuss this further.

My approach

My work is integrative, trauma-informed, and person-centred. This means I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches while remaining flexible and responsive to each individual.

Rather than applying a single model or method, I adapt sessions to suit your needs, goals, and pace. Emotional safety, trust, and relationship are central to how I work. We move collaboratively, focusing on what feels most supportive for you.

Therapeutic approaches I draw from

Depending on your needs, sessions may be informed by a combination of the following approaches:

  • Person-centred therapy

  • Trauma-informed practice

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) informed skills

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Narrative therapy

  • Strengths-based approaches

  • Art therapy–informed approaches

You don’t need to understand or choose a particular modality. These approaches support the therapeutic work rather than define it.

Working with teenagers

Therapy with teenagers is approached with care, respect, and attention to developmental needs. Sessions focus on creating a sense of safety, autonomy, and trust.

Where appropriate, collaboration with parents or carers can be discussed while maintaining the young person’s confidentiality and sense of agency.

What sessions look like

  • One-hour individual sessions

  • Offered via secure telehealth

  • Calm, confidential, and respectful space

  • Pacing guided by your comfort and readiness

You don’t need to prepare anything for your sessions. Showing up as you are is enough.
